OxyCam – Underwater camera

Oxycam is the new underwater camera to viewing  fishes  into farming cages or tanks.

The camera can be immersed up to 50 meters and allows you to get high resolution video.

The camera is connected to a Oxybuoy, the water  parameters monitoring system, suitable modified to manage the video stream.

Captured video at prefixed periods, with the data of possible probes, is sent directly on a database on cloud and can be analyzed by logging in to www.fishcontrol.com .

It is therefore possible to analyze the behavior of the fish through the stored videos and associate it to the measured parameters such as oxygen, temperature, current intensity, etc.

Oxycam can also work continuously and in real time by sending the appropriate command from the Web.

Description

Oxycam consists of:

  • Underwater camera complete with cable
  • Probes for measuring water parameters
  • Data communication system between the buoy and the cloud
  • Photovoltaic panel for autonomy power supply
  • Fishcontrol web app for data visualization and management

Platform station for parameter reading and data transmission:

On the platform, in an appropriate waterproof  panel, a small intelligent and autonomous system is installed, which acquires all the information and retransmits on to the cloud. Being a microprocessor, this system lends itself to maximum expandability according to the needs that may arise.

In addition to the control system, all the control units of the probes and all the control unit are positioned.

Data is transmitted to ground stations via an Internet connection based on a 3G network by means of a standard SIM card.

Central control station:

The data transmitted by the system is received on the cloud according to the modalities related to the transmission medium used. The data received, are stored in a centralized database that makes them available through an Internet or Intranet connection with secure access according to current standards. The cartographic software connects to this database and visualizes in real time the data received and the videos realized. It also allows to view historical data by means of graphs or reports on table.

Our software, in addition to the classic features of a supervision system, offers the following options:

  • Ability to add or remove systems from list
  • Contemporary view of all systems
  • Visualization of the parameters of the single system in the database
  • Alarms in the event of failure to receive buoy data

The storage of data in a centralized database allows to have more control stations also placed in different places since the access to such data takes place through the Internet

Tecnos makes available to its customers the cloud platform Web Fish Controller accessible at www.fishcontrol.com  to view and manage the data sent by Oxycam.

Power consumption and dimensions :

The system consists of an electrical panel in fiberglass with IP65 degree of protection

The power supply is provided by a solar panel equipped with a special battery sized to ensure continuous operation even at night
